Way back in 2013......
Young People took part in a survey, which asked about 'being in care' and 'Having Your say'. Those who wanted to carry on talking were invited to a Bite & Blether.........an agreement to meet regularly was made in February 2014. Our journey began...........
We began with weekly meetings,.....discussions focused on 'What makes a good care journey?' ........all our ideas, thoughts, experiences and views were gathered and we made a short film.......and a WISH LIST..........our views were being heard...by 2015 the wish list developed into a 'Pledge' AND a strategy called LISTEN UP! - follow the link
Young people are now involved in the informal interview process!
